Capital Guaranteed Portfolio

    1.  What is the Capital Guaranteed Portfolio?

       Previously, when you were within five years of date of normal retirement you
       could transfer (part of) your assets to the Fullvest Guaranteed portfolio, where
       the returns are declared monthly and vest in full (i.e. the returns, once declared,
       cannot be retracted in the event of subsequent poor market performance).

      Returns from this portfolio are ‘smoothed over time’ by holding back part of the
      returns in periods of strong market performance and supplementing them in
      periods of weak market performance. As this portfolio is an insurance product, the
      underlying conditions of insurance laid down by the insurer apply and monies
      transferred to this portfolio cannot be transferred elsewhere until after retirement.

      This option is available only to members currently participating.
